Student Life

Campus life activities are built around the concepts of encouraging each student to express his or her talents and to respect all members of our pluralistic community.

This is how you always dreamed what a college would be: an exciting, world-class education in an exciting, world-class city, where a school day might start with an outdoors discussion of international engineering breakthrough and wrap up with a sunset gathering at the moon lake, and where a walk home from the library includes free admission to a Roam about the Classics concert in the National Grand Theater.

This is the unique campus life of BJUT, a sole campus full of the flavor of the capital city that combines the laid-back beauty, rich history, vibrant culture and diverse social life of our hometown.

You’ll be busy, but the best kind of busy — busy trying to squeeze in a trip to the Olympics Forest Park’s picnic between volunteering at a charity dance marathon and attending your roommate’s robotics competition. With more than 120 student clubs and organizations, there’s no better place to meet new people, try new things and get involved.

Getting involved in campus life including a vast range of cultural, educational, athletic, and social activities is the quickest way to become a part of the University community and to create one’s own college experience. Campus life activities are built around the concepts of encouraging each student to express his or her talents and to respect all members of our pluralistic community.

One of the most distinctive characteristics of BJUT is its closely knit and integrated residential community. All students in the colleges/faculties live together on campus. The residential experience is central to the educational program of the University, that offers students a supportive and enriching environment full of opportunities for personal growth.

With more than 60 years in the business, we’ve learned a thing or two about keeping our students happy, healthy and successful. Come for a visit and we’ll show you what makes our university and our campus life so special.
